Maple Dread

The Maple Dread . A Dreadnaught Style Cutaway with maple leaf inlay to enhance the maple tone wood. This guitar was constructed using curly maple for back & sides, bear claw sitka spruce for the sound board, curly & rock maple laminated neck, Macassa ebony fret board, Tassie Tiger Myrtle for bindings, bridge and the headstock feature. I used both Curly Maple & Tiger Myrtle for most inlay work, including the rosette. The maple leaves on the fret-board were made from bronze MOP shell. This Guitar was made for my son and to his liking. It has a very nice mellow tone.
