The Belle

The Belle. This is my first guitar building experience. The shape and style is similar to that of the CF Martin 000 style guitar. I chose flamed QLD maple for back & sides, Sitka spruce sound board, QLD maple for the neck, rosewood for the fret board, bridge and headstock, Australian beef-wood for bindings and used abalone as the inlay material, incl the rosette. The experience of making my first guitar was extremely rewarding. It seemed like after too many years of wondering, I had finally found a comfortable place in life.
